A Jacksonville man under criminal investigation admitted on national television Monday that he kicked a 6-year-old boy, apparently his stepson, off a 13-foot Kona Skatepark ramp and called his action caught on a video a “bonehead decision.” “It’s my poor attempt at trying to help him overcome his fear,” Marcus Crossland, 27, told NBC’s “Today” show in a recorded interview. “It was an effort to help him, but it didn’t come across that way.” Crossland added that he was sorry “that I made that decision to use that tactic as opposed to another.” read more
