Mother Nature appears to be the culprit behind Thursday night’s collapse of the drive-through at a North Jacksonville Wells Fargo bank.
Pooling rainwater on top of the 30-year-old structure behind the bank at 899 Dunn Ave. may have caused its center section to crash to the ground 10 feet below, bank officials said.
No one was hurt when the roof section above the center three lanes of the six-lane overhang behind the bank collapsed about 9 p.m., spokeswoman Kathy Harrison said.
