FORT MYERS — Southwest Florida authorities have released the names of the family that was killed during a murder-suicide.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office reported Tuesday that Sonny Medina, a Salvation Army employee, killed 29-year-old Maria Navas and three children, ages 10, 6 and 2. Police said Medina then turned the gun on himself.
