The Wednesday Brown Bag Lunch Program at the Main Library in June was all about tea.
A roomful of people were seated at tables decorated with flowers, china tea cups, candlesticks and cloth napkins.
Colleen Messner, owner of The Spice and Tea Exchange in downtown St. Augustine, provided samples of brewed loose-leaf tea with poetic names such as Mystic Dragon, Cinnamon Plum and Golden Assam.
The latter was specially blended for the 125th anniversary of Henry Flagler’s Ponce de Leon Hotel, now home to Flagler College.
