|Hurricane Julio not expected to threaten Hawaii|

HONOLULU — The National Weather Service says Hurricane Julio continues to move away from Hawaii and will not pose a threat on the heels of a damaging tropical storm.
Meteorologist John Bravender says Julio is about 400 miles northeast of Honolulu. It has been downgraded to a Category 1 hurricane, the lowest level. It is packing winds of about 90 miles per hour.
The forecast Sunday calls for the return of blue skies and sunshine for parts of the state.
