JUPITER — A construction worker is recovering after being bit by a tiger at a big cat sanctuary in Florida. The Palm Beach Post reported the man was leaning up against a fence when he was bit. He suffered a non-life threatening injury to his hand. The man was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center for treatment. Florida Fish and Wildlife spokeswoman Amanda Phillips told the newspaper it appears the tiger was properly caged and that the owner of the facility was not at fault.
