The ladies of Ancient City Chapter 2232, United Daughters of the Confederacy were busy the last two months of 2013. On Nov. 9, several members worked with the Gen. W.W. Loring Camp, Sons of Confederate Veterans, and Lee’s Legacy of the Children of the Confederacy, to collect garbage along Wildwood Drive. On Nov. 16, chapter member Katy Walls talked about the research she conducted for her new book, “Under a Black Flag,” which is about the War Between the States in Missouri. Ladies brought in donations for the Alpha Omega Miracle Home. read more
