TALLAHASSEE — Weather-related flight problems have temporarily scuttled another bill in the Florida Legislature.
A bill aimed at regulation of the commercial parasailing industry was pulled from the Senate Regulated Industries committee Thursday because its sponsor — Sen. Maria Sachs, D-Delray Beach — couldn’t get to Tallahassee.
Committee chair Kelli Stargel, R-Lakeland, said the bill (SB 320) would be taken up during the panel’s next meeting on Thursday.
