GAINESVILLE — In a role reversal, the University of Florida basketball team bailed itself out on a different end of the court.
“Thank God we had some offense,” coach Billy Donovan said after the third-ranked Gators held off Alabama 78-69 on Saturday, in front of 12,520 at the O’Connell Center, winning their 29th consecutive home game and 15th in a row this season.
