He may be overstating the facts, but it does help explain his interest in pop culture memorabilia and movies, especially horror flicks.
Comic books and movies were big motivators for Tucker venturing out during his adolescence. Comics could be acquired at swap meets and flea markets. Drive-in theaters were a great place to catch a film.
