PALATKA — Putnam County School Board members want to know whether district policies were deliberately circumvented or overlooked out of ignorance when a first-year teacher showed a controversial anti-bullying film to about 100 of his high school students last month.
Superintendent Phyllis Criswell told the board Tuesday that her investigation is ongoing into agriscience teacher Jeremy Rhoden’s showing of the independent film “Love is All You Need,” to ninth through 12th grade students in his Future Farmers of America classes at Palatka High School on Feb. 20.
