FLA. HOUSE READY TO APPROVE IN-STATE TUITION BILL
TALLAHASSEE — The Florida House is giving tentative approval to a bill that would allow qualified Florida students to pay in-state college tuition rates even if they are in the country illegally.
The House could take a final vote on the bill (HB 851) this week.
Legislators did make some significant changes to the bill Wednesday.
