ARLINGTON, Texas — A key reason for the Florida Gators’ 63-53 loss to Connecticut on Saturday in the national semifinals at AT&T Stadium was one that has been cropping up late in the season — failing to get sophomore guard Michael Frazier the ball in situations when his deadly outside shooting could help the team.
Frazier made the first basket of the game on a 3-pointer from the wing. But from then on, he attempted only two more shots and ended with the three points he had in the opening seconds.
