5K run/walk
St. Johns River State College will hold its inaugural Viking 5K Run at 8:30 a.m. on May 24. The race will begin at Tilghman House, 324 River Street, Palatka. Pre-registration is $25 for the public and $20 for students. Registration is $30 on race day.
Funds raised will help support the college by providing resources to students and programs. Overall male and female winners will receive $100 each. For information, call 386-312-4100 or go to SJRvikings.com.
